Fox Announces D-Theater Editions of ìFight Club,î ìBehind Enemy Lines,î And ìMen Of Honorî For October Release

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced three new titles to be offered on the HD-Plus D-VHS D-Theater consumer format. This new batch of releases will be released on October 1 with the titles being: ìFight Club,î ìMen Of Honor,î and ìBehind Enemy Lines.î Suggested retail price will be $34.98 each (they will be available for $31.99 through the www.widescreenreview.com and www.dvhsmovieguide.com Web sites). Each title will be mastered in full 1080i resolution and with JVCís D-Theater copy protection system. In addition, each release will be presented in its original theatrical aspect ratios and in Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks (ìFight Clubî is Dolby Digital Surround EX-encoded). No supplemental material has been scheduled to be included.D-VHS is currently the only high-definition consumer format available, and offers the increasing number of consumers with high-definition television displays the content they have been seeking. Created by JVC specifically for copyrighted, high-value prerecorded content, D-Theater provides a state-of-the-art level of security demanded by content providers in the digital era.
