The Cranberries To Release ""Beneath The Skin - Live In Paris Vol. 2"" DVD On October 1, 2002

Irish rock band, the Cranberries, will release their live concert DVD 'Beneath the Skin - Live in Paris Vol. 2' on October 1, 2002, though Sanctuary Visual Entertainment, a division of the Sanctuary Records Group. 'Beneath the Skin - Live in Paris Vol. 2' is the band's first DVD and was recorded live in Paris, France, on December 9, 1999, at the Palais Omnisport de Bercy before a capacity crowd of 17,000 fans. Dolores O'Riordan Burton (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Noel Hogan (guitar), Mike Hogan (bass guitar) and Fergal Lawler (drums) exploded out of Limerick, Ireland, and achieved international stardom with their debut album 'Everybody Else is Doing It, So Why Can't We?' and the hit single ""Linger"" in 1993. The Cranberries quickly followed that release with 'No Need to Argue' (1994), 'To the Faithful Departed' (1996) and 'Bury the Hatchet' (1999). The 84-minute concert includes 22 songs and all of the band's biggest hits: ""Dreams,"" ""Zombie,"" ""Ode To My Family,"" ""Ridiculous Thoughts,"" ""Salvation,"" ""Free to Decide,"" ""When You're Gone"" and many others including a cover of Fleetwood Mac's ""Go Your Own Way."" The DVD features include: widescreen format, DTS 5.1 audio, an MP3 file of ""Salvation,"" a new Cranberries documentary, rare live performance videos of three classic tracks and a sampler of five promotional videos released over the past few years, and DVD-ROM functionality provides computer wallpaper, lyrics that viewers can follow during the concert, an interactive slide show and a link to the official Cranberries web site.
