The new model, based on the is based on the Piega S4.Maintaining the thin aluminum column look of the earlier model, which remains in the line, the S4 XL adds a third 3-inch driver to the two-way, bass-reflex design. High frequencies are delivered by the 1-inch dome tweeter.Working with amplifiers providing 20 to 150 watts per channel, the S4 XL has a frequency response of 42 to 22,000 Hz, +/-3 dB. The speaker's sensitivity is 88 dB at 1 watt/1 meter, and its nominal impedance is 4 ohms. The S4 XL measures 49 inches high, 4 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. It weighs 18 pounds.
