Samsung Announces Most Affordable HDTVs With $100 Rebate Promotion

Samsung Electronics America, Inc., has taken the lead in moving HDTV into the consumer mainstream with an affordable HDTV solution, with the help of rebates. Samsung's 27-inch DynaFlat HDTV monitor (TXM2796HF) has a price of $699 ($799 with $100 instant rebate), while the 32-inch DynaFlat (TXM3296HF) and the 30-inch widescreen DynaFlat (TXM3096WHF) hit the $999 ($1,099 with $100 instant rebate) price point. With this rebate, the TXM3096WHF became the first widescreen HDTV on the market for under $1,000 on September 1.
