A full-function infrared remote control is also included with both models.Runco's PFP ViViX controller features sophisticated video processing that accepts all video formats, including high-definition 1080i, 1080p, 720p, and 480p, as well as 480i, and optimizes them to take advantage of the full resolution of the panel. The PFP ViViX also incorporates proprietary 3:2 pull-down processing and edge enhancement. The processor offers Runco's Virtual Wide Aspect Ratio for reproducing 4:3 programming on the widescreen displays with minimal image distortion. The PL-50HDX has an MSRP of $16,995.
