JVC announced a new audio/video receiver line highlighted by simplicity in form and function, and new high-end features that provide consumers with a home theatre experience to rival systems costing thousands more. JVC's 2003 audio/video receivers feature component video switching and surround processing supporting DolbyÆ Digital, DTSÆ, and Dolby Pro LogicÆ II throughout the line. The higher-end 130-watt x 6 RX-8030VBK and the 110-watt x 6 RX-7030VBK also support Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ESÆ, and DTS 96/24, which significantly improves 360-degree localization and spatial expression. The DSPs power other functions as well, including 3D-PHONIC, 3D headphone (RX-8030VBK only), digital EQ, and midnight mode. With DVD 5.1 multichannel high-resolution audio compatibility, the RX-8030VBK and RX-7030VBK offer a flexible high-end home theatre experience. The RX-8030VBK is equipped with CC (Compression Compensative) Converter technology, which utilizes an exclusive algorithm that restores lost signals based on recorder digital signals or audible frequencies. Additionally, both receivers use the exclusive JVC P.E.M.D.D. (Pulse Edge Modulation Differerential-Linearity-Errorless D/A) Converter, designed to efficiently convert digital signals back to analog, ensuring the best possible sound quality with minimal signal loss. Also, both the RX-7030VBK and the RX-8030VBK are equipped with front A/V jacks. All 2002 audio/video receivers are equipped with JVC's enhanced COMPU LINK control system, providing a digital conduit for JVC receivers and other JVC audio products to seamlessly work together.
