JVC announced a new, redesigned I'Art line of flat-screen TVs that reinforce the series' state-of-the-art performance and features with sleek new cabinet and stand styling. The new line comprises six models in screen sizes ranging from 27 to 36 inches, and includes two product lines--the FA44 and FA54 series. ""Our I'Art line of flat-screen TVs has been well-received by dealers and consumers,"" said Dan McCarron, National Product Specialist, Color Television Division, JVC Company of America. ""With our new designs the line is stronger than ever, with a look that reflects the series' high level of technology and performance."" The new JVC I'Art flat screen line is ideal for DVD viewing, with features specifically designed to deliver superior DVD performance. Among these features is the 16:9 raster compression mode that, with the push of one button, adjusts the set for watching anamorphic DVDs. Other features that enhance home theatre DVD enjoyment include TheaterPro 6500K color temperature and selectable velocity scan modulation. Standard features include an interactive plug-in-menu, XDS ID display, front-panel lock, a ten-minute auto-shutoff option, INVAR shadow mask, component video input, an S-video input, three A/V inputs (two rear, one front), a three-line digital comb filter, white character correction circuitry, Noise Clear Circuitry, and real color and real detail creation. The FA44 series audio features include BBEÆ High Definition Sound Enhancement along with Hyper Surround to complement each set's 15 watts of audio power. The FA54 Series adds dual component video inputs, dual-tuner PIP with EZ-Surf, Advanced Hyper Surround Sound, a subwoofer output, and 20 watts of audio power. Every I'Art flat-screen TV also includes JVC's AV CompuLink III for connectivity with the company's audio and video products. The FA44 and FA54 product lines will be available June 2003.
