Sunfire Corporation, a privately owned American audio company, has announced at CES two new multichannel amplifiers and a stereo stack. The new seven-channel amplifiers are the Cinema Seven and the Cinema Seven Signature. The Cinema Seven produces 200 watts of amplification to each of its seven channels, while the Cinema Seven Signature is rated at 400 watts per channel, which makes this product the most powerful multichannel amplifier on the market. Every Cinema Seven Signature is hand-signed by Bob Carver. Both amplifiers incorporate Mr. Carver's new digital tracking technology and will carry a five-year warranty. This all-new tracking amplifier technology can anticipate subtle to dramatic changes and automatically adjust the amount of amplification needed for improved dynamics. Another characteristic of the Tracking Downconverter is the ability to make the amplifier run more efficiently by generating far less heat. Scheduled introduction will begin in the spring of 2003. Suggested retail price of the Cinema Seven is $2,995 and $3,995 for the Cinema Seven Signature. Along with their home theatre amplifiers, Sunfire Corporation showed a stereo stack, named the Symphonic Reference by its designer, Bob Carver. The Symphonic Reference amplifier has two channels of amplification at 250 watts per channel and incorporates the award winning, patented Tracking Downconverter technology. The matching piece is a pure high-fidelity preamplifier. A milled aluminum remote control is included with this stack that retails for $2,495. The amplifier warranty is five years and the preamplifier carries a two-year warranty. The Symphonic Reference stack is in stock and shipping.Sunfire Corporation designs, manufactures, and sells high-end audio components of exceptional quality worldwide. For more information, visit www.sunfire.com.
