Pioneer Introduces New DVD Players

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. introduced two new multimedia DVD players, the DV-563A and DV-463. These full-featured, single-play DVD players offer playback of compressed music formats, PureCinemaô progressive scan, and a photo viewer for digital images. In addition, the DV-563A plays DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD (SACD) titles.DVD-Audio/SACD: the DV-563A plays back DVD-Audio and SACD titles. Both DVD-Audio and SACD are growing in popularity, with nearly 1,000 titles currently available and many more scheduled for release this year.Compressed audio: both units have the ability to play multiple compressed music formats including the very popular MP3 and Windows Media Audio (WMA). Fans of compressed audio will appreciate the on-screen menu that enables simple navigation and song selection from the remote control or the front panel of the DVD player.Digital photos: a photo viewer is built into the players, enabling users to create an ongoing slide show of digital images.
