Toshiba Announces Nationwide Availability Of New Portable DVD Player Models

Toshiba has introduced two new portable models, the SD-P1200 and SD-P2500.The SD-P1200 is the first portable DVD player in a fashionably styled, ""sure-grip"" design with a red styling. The ergonomically designed player features a cabinet design with a faux rubberized texture and a 7-inch widescreen TFT LCD. There's a 3.5-hour Lithium ion battery and a credit card-sized remote control. Additional features include multi-disc compatibility and a JPEG viewer.Toshiba's SD-P2500 comes equipped with technology features such as Super ColorStream ProÆ progressive scan output, DVD-Audio compatibility, and an LCD screen resolution of 1024 x 600. In addition, a monitor input permits users to connect portable video products such as a camcorder, and view the images on the 8.9-inch LCD screen.The SD-P2500 features an advanced navigation menu for convenient access of key player functions. All player and DVD menu functions are also accessible using the four-way cursor, located on the remote control and the top panel of the player.Both models weigh less than two pounds without the battery pack.
