InFocus Introduces Summertime Special Offers On Award-Winning ScreenPlay Projectors

InFocusÆ Corporation (NASDAQ: INFS, OSE: IFC) has announced a price reduction on their ScreenPlay 110 and ScreenPlay 7200 home theatre projectors. InFocus is cutting the price on the ScreenPlay 110, with a new price of $2,799. The ScreenPlay 110 features DLPô technology, Faroudja video processing technology, 1,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a six-segment color wheel. For the ScreenPlay 7200, the premier projector in the InFocus home theatre projector portfolio, InFocus is now offering an $8,999 price and a limited-time offer of a $1,000 end-user rebate. The ScreenPlay 7200 is a true 720p high-definition projector optimized for home cinema use. It is equipped with eight video inputs, specially created optics, and HD2 DLP technology from Texas Instruments. ""The home theatre market will grow 100 percent this year, and InFocus continues to help fuel this growth by delivering innovative products at obtainable price points that enable consumers to enjoy the ultimate cinema experience at home, which is only possible with projection,"" said Scott Hix, Vice President and General Manager of Business Development at InFocus. The price reductions of both the ScreenPlay 110 and the ScreenPlay 7200 follow closely on the heels of the May release of the first sub-$1,400 home projector by InFocus, the ScreenPlay 4800. Availability The ScreenPlay 110 and the ScreenPlay 7200 are available immediately at their new price points.
