AKIRA Introduces 84-Inch Plasma Display

AKIRA has introduces the Neodigm 84-inch multi-PDP plasma display monitor. Comprised of four matrixed 42-inch plasma display panels (PDPs), the result is very high-resolution and high-contrast monitor. The quad matrix is nearly seamless, with a virtually invisible gap of less than 3 mm between panels, and an actual display size of 84 inches wide. With a built-in matrix processor, the AKIRA Neodigm 84-inch multi-PDP can display from one to four separate computer, composite, S-video, component, or HDTV signals simultaneously, with a choice of one, two, three or four images on the screen at a time. The unit accepts and displays computer resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 (UXGA), and is compatible with all international television standards. With a very low profile at just over 4 inches deep, the AKIRA Neodigm 84-inch multi-PDP can be flush-mounted to a wall or can be displayed free-standing, using the optional wall mount or floor stand accessories. The monitor runs silently and operates on standard power from 110 to 240 V AC. Features include RS-232C control for remote operation and status monitoring, contrast ratio of over 2,500:1, color temperature settings from 3200 to 9300 degrees Kelvin, audio follow video, a wide viewing angle of more than 160 degrees, and a sleek titanium bezel.
