The new CV-43 HD and CV-50 HD widescreen plasma displays boast 1280 x 768 native resolution and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. Both units are mated with a Crystal View outboard processor that serves as a main switching station and allows for image control adjustments such as aspect ratio, color temperature, brightness, and resolution scaling. Both models are custom-framed in a choice of colors or wood grains to complement the room in which they will be installed. Options include a table stand, wall mount, and tuner pack. Standard HD connections include component and RGB. Suggested retail prices for the CV-43 HD and CV-50 HD are $11,995 and $16,995, respectively.The new Crystal View CV-HD720P DLP projector incorporates the Texas Instruments HD-2 ""Mustang"" DLP chip, offering 1280 x 720 native resolution. According to Crystal View President Gary Guidi, ""The CV-HD720P projector meets the SMPTE HD specifications for DTV color accuracy, thus ensuring the best possible reproduction of high-definition video programming."" Enhanced projector features include a 2,300:1 contrast ratio; 1.75-2.25 zoom lens; DVI, component, RGB, S-video, and composite video inputs; infrared RS-232 control; and two 12-volt output triggers. Additionally, a 1:1 wide-angle lens is offered as an option for installations requiring a short throw distance. The projector's specially designed body is rated to produce less than 28 dB noise while simultaneously concealing all mounting hardware and related wiring.
