Yamaha Electronics' flagship DVD player--the DVD-S2300--now comes with an RS-232C port for custom installation.The DVD-S2300MK2 provides DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD (SACD) playback capability, and progressive scan with DCDiô processing by Faroudja. Performance and custom-installation features of the DVD-S2300MK2 include: a 4:4:4 progressive scan component video circuit; an S-Video output and two composite video outputs for multi-room operation; optical and coaxial digital audio outputs for DTSÆ Digital Surroundô, DolbyÆ Digital, and PCM; I/O ports for remote control; RS-232C ports and extended I/R codes for custom installation; and a detachable power cord. ? The DVD-S2300MK2 single-disc DVD player handles all popular audio/video formats, including SACD, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, compact disc, MP3 files on CD, CD-R, VCD (Video CD), and SVCD (Super Video CD).
