Myutopia Recordings Introduces the THE CELL SERIES, 10 New Electronica ñ Hip DVD-Audio Discs

Myutopia Recordings, a division of the 5.1 Entertainment Group and sister label to Silverline Records, has already begun the rollout of the highly anticipated collaboration of Top named DJs and producers. The Cell Series is comprised of 10 new tastemaker releases in the DVD-Audio format mixed entirely in 5.1 Surround Sound. The Cell Series began arriving in stores on November 18th and will continue throughout the holidays, it was announced today by Myutopia Recordings Senior Vice President of A&R Kevin Moran. The Cell Series is comprised of emerging artists and producers, who with their own style and sensibility break through the clutter of mediocrity and obscurity to reward listeners with an expanded listening experience. All of the tracks in Myutopiaís Cell Series have been produced and mixed in 5.1 surround sound complete with bonus video footage, never before seen artwork and photo galleries. ìThese artists each represent a community, and a ësoundí in new music today. We explored everything from ambient to underground hip-hop and decided that some of the artists closest to us represented the emerging culture of music. CELL ONE: Poet Name Life presents The Sound Proof Walls ñ Alongside Hip-Hop allies The Black Eyed Peas, Poet Name Life has established himself as one of the newest members of LAís music elite. Songs on this DVD-Audio album embody a dynamic and futuristic musical collision between worlds of live instrumentation, free-form jazz, club moving, head bobbing, hip-hop, and loungy tweaked out electronics. CELL TWO: DJ Motiv8 From Hip Hop to Drum and Bass ñ Producer, DJ Motiv8 has established himself as one of the most respected figures in the hip-hop world using his signature ìelectro-organicî sound. He has produced tracks for Madonna, Billy Idol, ëN Sync, members of Bell Biv Devoe, Jurassic 5, and Black Eyed Peas. This DVD-Audio disc incorporates a true blend of hip hop with a drum-n-bass tempo, featuring Tippa Irie, Seven, MC Twileeze, Dante Santiago, Goldenboy the MC and others.  CELL THREE: Daddy Kev Penchant for Buggery ñ Known as one of LAís top sound sculptors, Daddy Kev forges a psychedelic rock blend of subversive hip-hop with jazz influence on this DVD-Audio disc.
