In-Vision Introduces A New Product Line Of In-Wall Televisions

In-Vision will introduce at the 2004 CES the first line of in-wall integrated flat panel, HDTV-ready TVs exclusively designed for custom recessed installation. A patented kit provides all parts needed to install this series of TVs in a hollow wall even in hostile environments such as extreme cold, heat or humidity. This allows for installation in bathrooms, kitchens, marine environments, and outdoors.Patent Pending technologies allows the In-Vision to ìliveî in places no TV or even flat-panel TV could survive. Functional design elements include tempered glass front fascia, invisible heater element, silicone seal, and retrofit back box. The tempered glass fascia affords rugged protection to ordinarily fragile flat panel substrate, as well as splash proofing when combined with a silicone weather seal between fascia and back box. Back box is a steel enclosure affording easy pre-construction or retrofit installation of the In-Vision as a complete unit in any hollow wall structure, inside our outside the home, as well as the shower! In-Visionís patented transparent heating element does double duty as it functions ideally as a defogger element, allowing clear fog free viewing of the In-Vision in the bathroom, sauna, or other high humidity environments. Additionally, the heater can also serve as a defroster when your In-Vision is mounted outside your home, in the cabana, near the hot tub or whirlpool spa, even in cold winter seasons. The In-Vision keeps your screen frost-free and the flat panel display substrate inside at a comfortable ambient temperature. The initial offers in the In-Vision product line, that will ship January 2004, will consist of a 15-inch 1.33:1 ratio model and 17-inch 1.78:1 model.
