B & K Components, Ltd. introduces the CT-600, multi-zone receiver aimed at the high-end distributed audio market. The CT-600 is the latest B & K receiver to bring an unprecedented level of flexibility and control to multi-room audio/video distribution by allowing for total configuration via software. The CT600 is a six zone receiver based on the existing CT platform and incorporates all the features you need to achieve whole house audio and video. The receiver features nine A/V inputs, six programmable IR/Keypad inputs, and nine programmable IR outputs. Internal amplifiers deliver 12 x 55 watts of power to each channel.For the installer, B & K's proprietary Software Suite takes the guesswork out of installing and running a whole house A/V system. Default settings allow the CT-600 to work with B & K CK 1.2 keypads right out of the box. Installation templates for common installations are available from B & K making this system one of the easiest to set up and operate. More advanced installations can be easily configured using the software, as can all of the basic parameters and functions of the receivers.In addition to out of the box operation using the CK 1.2 keypads, the CT600 is fully compatible with popular touchpanel and keypad systems, such as those available from Elan, Crestron, AMX, and Vantage. When the installer has completed his task, all the customer sees is the seamless integration of audio and video throughout the house.The CT600 is priced at $2,298.00 without keypads.
