Barco And Cinemeccanica Sign Letter Of Intent

Barco and Cinemeccanica are pleased to announce that they have signed a letter of intent to cooperate in the future of Digital Cinema. Under the agreement Barco and Cinemeccanica will cooperate in the commercial product development of an OEM digital cinema solution incorporating Barcoís 2k technology, which is based on TIís DLP Cinema technology. The agreement marks Cinemeccanicaís formal entry into the digital cinema market following a long and successful history as one of the worlds leading providers of 35mm projectors, and after a year in which the company has experienced an increasing demand for digital cinema solutions and successfully completed its pioneering Digital Cinema installation in Bratislava, Slovakia.
