INHD reached an agreement with the PGA TOUR to present high-definition coverage of four upcoming PGA TOUR Golf Tournaments. As part of the agreement, INHD will also produce and air a year-ending high-definition show highlighting the 2004 PGA TOUR season. INHD is offered as part of the HD service of cable's largest companies, including Comcast, Cox, Time Warner, and Bright House. Under the agreement, INHD will air a high-definition version of USA Network's live Thursday and Friday action for each of the following events:The Shell Houston Open [April 22, 2004 (4 - 6 p.m., ET) and April 23, 2004 (3 - 6 p.m., ET)] - Fred Couples is scheduled to defend last year's title against 156 of the world's best golfers from the Redstone Golf Club in Humble, TX.The Wachovia Championship [May 6, 2004 (4 - 6 p.m., ET) and May 7, 2004 (3 - 6 p.m., ET)] - Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC will host the PGA TOUR after a successful debut in 2003. David Toms is the defending champion and Phil Mickelson returns to action for the first time since winning the Masters Tournament.The EDS Byron Nelson Championship [May 13, 2004 (4 - 6 p.m., ET) and May 14, 2004 (3 - 6 p.m., ET)] - Played at the TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving, TX, this tournament is one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR with players competing for $5.8 million in prize money.
