InterVideo, Inc. announced that Fujitsu Limited is shipping new versions of its high-quality FMV-BIBLO notebooks with InterVideo's innovative InstantON technology. By adding InstantON PC/CE convergence technology, the Fujitsu notebooks become complete home entertainment centers with fast, CE-like access and remote control for enjoying TV and videos. Available exclusively in Japan, the Fujitsu notebooks featuring Fujitsu InstantTV/DVD include the new FMV-BIBLO NB Series (Models NB75H/T and NB70H/T) and FMV-BIBLO NH Series (Models NH90H/T and NH50H/T). A key benefit of the InterVideo InstantON technology is that it enables the Fujitsu InstantTV/DVD consumer-like user interface to play DVD and TV by remote control without launching Windows XP Home/Professional. Notebooks with Fujitsu InstantTV/DVD features boot up quickly, ready to deliver playback of DVD videos with outstanding clarity; plus TV-viewing capabilities that users can enjoy from the comfort of their living room couch. Fujitsu packs all of these entertainment features into the FMV-BIBLO notebooks without sacrificing portability. Measuring an average of just 40-56mm thick and weighing from 3.8 to 4.7kg, the Pentium 4-based and Celeron-based FMV-BIBLO notebooks feature integrated 802.11b wireless LAN support(NH90H/T, NB75H/T). The PCs also include USB 2.0, IEEE 1394, memory stick, SD card, modem, Ethernet, and TV-out connectivity. An integrated super multi-drive (DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RAM/DVD-RW/DVD+RW/CD-R/CD-RW), Windows XP Home Edition/Professional, 512MB/256MB of memory and an 80GB hard drive are also included.
