Winter got his start in the late 60ís with his debut album rising to the top of the charts in 1969. He later started a band called ìJohnny Winter Andî, with who he had his highest charting album. After his albums became much more blues oriented in the late 70ís, Winter switched to the label Alligator for three albums, and has since recorded albums for the MCA and Pointblank.The DVD, Live in Times Square, features Johnny Winter playing a live show at the legendary B.B. Kingís Blues Club in New York. His remarkable guitar playing electrifies the room as the adoring crowd erupts.
