Panamax has introduced its newest floor models under three new lines: POWERMAX, PREMIUM and PRO Series. Each series delivers clean and safe power to enhance the performance of audio & video systems and home & office equipment. Panamaxís new powerful conditioners protect a variety of A/V signal types in addition to AC power, and deliver many new innovative features such as increased noise filtration, over and under voltage power monitoring and control, modern cord management design separating high voltage and low voltage circuits to eliminate noise, optional add-on signal protection modules for systems that require expanded protection, and elegant brushed silver or black metal enclosure accents. ìWe developed the new power conditioners to give installers solutions for guaranteeing maximum value from each of their electronic system installations,î said Don King, director of product marketing at Panamax. ìThe POWERMAX, PREMIUM and PRO Series provide clean power for optimum performance of noise-sensitive components in home theaters, computer networks, and more. Most models also feature integrated signal line protection for simple, all-in-one coverage of a variety of cutting-edge systems.îPanamax designed the 12 new floor models to protect AC power as well as signal and data lines used in popular home and office applications. Each conditioner features four or eight surge-protected outlets, which use Panamaxís Protect or Disconnectô circuitry to block catastrophic surges from damaging connected equipment. Since surges can reach systems through any cable or wire type, the new conditioners include surge protection for CATV & cable modems, satellite TV lines, and Telco & LAN connections. Top panel LEDs alert users to changes in the unitsí power protection, grounding status, voltage level, and DC trigger signal engagement. Wall-mounting brackets are included for fast and easy installations if wall mounting is desired. Each model in the new series accepts add-on signal modules available for protecting analog and digital telephone lines, cable and satellite TV, Ethernet lines, and control/external speaker lines. Multiple modules can be combined to fully cover complex systems. The PRO Series adds a bank of isolated high current outlets, a 12 volt trigger for power management, flashing unsafe voltage LED.
