HomeLogic, LLC introduces the 2nd Generation of its OneHome Management and Control Solutions. The 2nd Generation solutions reduce installation time and complexity, increase configuration flexibility, and make the OneHome solutions more affordable. New products include a new system enclosure, controller, networking modules, and software packaging. ìOur 2nd Generation products were driven in part by the valuable feedback from our dealers and home owners,î stated HomeLogic Co-Founder Buddy Duncan. ìThe new generation of the OneHome solution hardware significantly reduces installation time and helps the installer deliver much cleaner packaging for the homeowner. By integrating, for example, serial-to-IP network bridges into our purpose-built controller, weíve reduced the networking configuration and simplified the installation process.î The new OneHome Enclosure can be ordered at rough in and the controller and Network assembly with integrated sub-system connectivity hardware can be ordered for finish. ìThis helps reduce the potential for damage during construction,î Buddy added. The new HomeBrick controller comes with two (2) DB9 Serial ports, four (4) USB ports for connecting serially to sub-systems and an 80 GB of internal storage (or optional 300 GB) that may be utilized for digital audio and photo media storage. Its compact size facilitates installation in the new OneHome Enclosure, rack, or in most leading structured-wiring cabinets. The Network Assembly includes a wireless router and 20 data ports for increased networking flexibility.
