SIM2 Multimedia announces through its sister company SIM2 USA Inc. the introduction of the DOMINO 55M DLP-based rear projector and the all-new HTL40 LINK LCD display. To further meet consumer demands with Flat screen displays, SIM2 introduces a new LCD display that combines the latest in advanced LCD technologies with sleek, fashionable design and the high performance picture quality that consumers have come to expect from SIM2. The HTL40 LINK provides a 1000:1 contrast ratio to deliver rich, saturated colors, a superb gray scale tracking, and a brightness of 600 cd/m2, for a sharp vivid picture even in direct sunlight conditions. You can enjoy watching the HTL40 LINK from a variety of angles and distances up to 170 degrees horizontally and vertically. The HTL40 LINK display features an impressive array of digital connections, including HDMI and DVI, as well as having a lamp life of 60,000 hours. Also included is an on board 2nd generation DCDi Video Processing powered by Faroudja (FLI2310).And, following the Award winning RTX rear projection display based on DLP technology, SIM2 will also introduce a new product into the successful DOMINO line: the DOMINO 55M rear projector. With the RTX concept in mind, the DOMINO 55M's spectacular video performance is now available in a more traditional design and matt black finish. Based on Texas Instruments DLP technology (HD2 chip), the DOMINO 55M features a 1280 x 720 resolution, a high contrast ratio of 1800:1, a six segment color wheel for an artifact-free image, Stereo loudspeakers via external amplifier - L/R or Center channel, future proof inputs (including Progressive, PC and HDMI/HDCP), and a cabinet depth of only 15.9 inches (40 cm). The DOMINO 55M display is able to reproduce even the subtlest of details thanks to an accurate tracking of the gray scale.
