Altinex Introduces The MT103-122 And MT103-123 Twisted Pair Transmitter And Receiver Cards

Altinex, Inc. announces the release of the MT103-122, and the MT103-123 twisted pair MultiTasker based transmitter and receiver cards. The MT103-122 transmits and the MT103-123 receives computer video and audio signals over twisted pair (CAT5 type) cable when used together with twisted pair receivers and transmitters such as the DA1930CT or the DA1931CT. The MT103-122 and MT103-123 are easy to use and take up only one slot in a MultiTasker enclosure. Both units receive or transmit one of selectable video sources, such as VGA, S-video, or C-Video along with stereo audio. The audio and video inputs for the MT103-122 are: 15-pin HD connector, for RGBHV/YPbPr signals with the native Plug & Play compatibility, a 4 pin Mini-Din connector for S-Video, and an RCA connector for Composite Video output. A five (5) pin terminal block is used for stereo audio input and output, as well as a 3.5mm stereo jack. The output for the MT103-122 is a single RJ-45 connector carrying all audio and video signals over four (4) twisted pairs. The input for the MT103-123 is a single RJ-45 connector carrying all audio and video signals on four 4) twisted pairs. The audio and video outputs for the MT103-123 are: 15-pin HD connector, for RGBHV/YPbPr signals with the native Plug & Play compatibility, a 4 pin Mini-Din connector for S-Video, and an RCA connector for Composite Video output. A five (5) pin terminal block is used for stereo audio input and output, as well as a 3.5mm stereo jack. Both units also offer hardware video equalization for transmission and receiving lengths up to 400 feet. In combination with the necessary second unit on the receiving or transmitting side of the cable, the distance will almost double between units. The video equalization on the receiver works in conjunction with the video equalization on the transmitter. There is also a signal detect feature which indicates an input signal presence.
