Altinex, Inc. announces the release of MT105-130 an 8X8, 4x twisted pair matrix switcher card, for the MultiTasker product line. The MT105-130 is used in applications where space, budget, and distance are the governing decision making factors. The card has signal detect on all inputs. All switcher functions are controllable via simple ASCII RS232 commands. The new card, which will be available at the end of September 2004, has a list price of $1,295. The MT105-130 is compatible with DA1930CT, DA1931CT, DA1920SX, DA1921SX, MT103-121, MT103-122, MT103-123, MT103-115, MT103-116, is direct connect with no breakout cable and is easy to install as well as working with a simple RS232 control. The MT105-130 matrix switcher card switches four (4) twisted pairs, for full component (RGBHV)video with audio, also released were MT105-131 and MT105-132, with three (3) twisted pairs or two (2) twisted pairs for applications where S-Video or Composite video with audio is required. ""The release of the MT105-130 new Twisted Pair (CAT5) cards for will allow us to plan and design Twisted Pair matrix switching with having to convert the signal back to conventional matrix video and audio signals. This will not only retain signal quality and but will save rack space, equipment cost and a large chunk of installation cost. The card is fully compatible the MT103-122 and MT103-123, the recently released Twisted Pair transmitter and receiver. For the first time entire MultiTasker units may be connect over long distances using our Twisted Pair technology,"" states Mitesh Patel, Manager of the Technical Support Department at ALTINEX.For more information, please visit www.altinex.com.
