Management of The Outdoor Channel (TOC), announced today a deal with Premier Retail Networks, Inc. (PRN) that will place Outdoor Channel 2 HD programming in big-box retail outlets and TV departments where HDTV sets are sold across the country including Wal-Mart, SAMíS CLUB, Best Buy, Sears, Circuit City, and Costco. Under the agreement, TOC will provide PRN with a broad array of native 1080i footage, updated weekly. PRN will then select and air scenes they believe to be most effective in boasting the benefits of high definition technology. Content provided by Outdoor Channel 2 HD will begin airing on PRN next month, and will include video of fishing, wildlife, rodeo, motorsports and other action-oriented outdoor activities, with an emphasis on spectacular outdoor scenery.
