The driver is built from a solid polymer frame, heavy rubber surround, and a flat frequency response.Each 522D-SS Dipole/Bipole surround speaker is made of a solid 1-inch thick High Density Fiberboard (HDF) to eliminate unwanted resonances within the cabinet. Each speaker array is enclosed in its own sealed chamber offering true sound reproduction without interference.
