athena TECHNOLOGIESÆ introduces two new active subwoofers to the world market. Named the AS-P4000 and AS-P6000 these brand new subwoofers are price competitive while providing top notch low frequency support for music and home theater systems.The AS-P4000 and AS-P6000 were designed to match the cosmetics of the Micra M-225 subwoofer. The front of the subwoofer features a simple rotating level control and a two color activation status LED. The rear panel features both an RCA input, and speaker level inputs, as well as a rotating crossover control which is continuously variable from 40-120Hz. The flexible crossover system ensures the AS-P4000 and AS-P6000 can blend properly with any speaker.The enclosure design for both models is a down firing, front vented design. Down firing woofers provide very effective room loading and helps achieve a flat room response regardless of the flooring material.
