If the lamp fails, Warrantech customers know they can count on quick replacement. Our goal is to provide stellar service while making Warrantech a ìone-stop-shopî for all consumer electronic purchases.îWarrantechís new LCD and DLP Lamp Protection program does more than simply replace defective or broken components. Warrantech provides a list of guidelines designed to help consumers learn to care for and maintain their television at peak operating efficiency. To get the best service from a television lamp, know and follow these guidelines:- Avoid interrupting the power line to the television;- Plug television directly into the wall AC Socket rather than the satellite or cable box;- Clean or replace the television filter as instructed by the manufacturer or whenever you replace the lamp (Be sure to follow the manufacturerís cleaning instructions.);- When replacing a lamp, be sure to use the manufacturerís recommended part;- Most televisions require that the unitís timer be reset whenever a lamp is replaced. Resetting the timer without replacing the lamp could damage the television and invalidate the warranty, and;- It is normal for the lampís output to grow dimmer as it ages.
