Vidikron released the Visionô Model 60 in January of 2005 as part of its commitment to provide its dealers with high-value home theater products. The Model 60 is designed to reproduce widescreen video images with high brightness and detail at high definition resolutions. Weíre very happy with its power The Vision Model 60ís optical light engine design, which incorporates three D-ILA chips rather than a single-chip design, minimizes image distortion, and the ìrainbow effectî that often compromises the quality of single-chip displays. Vidikron engineers also paid careful attention to accurate gray scale tracking and true 6500K color reproduction, which are essential to producing smoother pictures that replicate the quality of real film. With 1000 ANSI lumens of light output (CSMSô Light Output of 17.9 ft-Lamberts) and a contrast ratio of 800:1, the Model 60 delivers bright and detailed images on screens as large as eight feet wide. The Model 60 features Vidikron's outstanding internal video processing with 3:2 film detection circuitry, and its full HDTV compatibility (with outboard tuner/decoder or satellite receiver) make it versatile enough to handle any video source. The projectorís discrete IR and RS-232 controls make custom installation seamless, while direct source and aspect ratio selection accommodate any automation control system.
