Panasonic Plasma Televisions To Play Prominent Role At PhotoImaging & Design Expo; 65-Inch and 50-Inch Screens Reveal Photos In Real Time During Live Shoots

15-Apr-05

PhotoImaging & Design Expo 2005, the industry's most talked about trade show, announced today that Panasonic will be a major sponsor of the event, providing plasma screens for the trade show's Live Photo Shoots. For the professional photographers watching these shoots, the screens will offer a new level of energy and vision, as well as an opportunity to see how plasma screens can help promote their business to their customers, and how they will function as an integral part of the digital work flow. Award-winning fashion, beauty, and fine art photographer Douglas Dubler's shoot, Innovative Beauty from Concept to Output, which will feature an indoor waterfall, will be one of the sessions including the plasma screens. Dubler was the first to introduce the large screens at his studio during live advertising shoots. ""Using the Panasonic Plasma screens has added a visual dimension to my shoots which surpasses anything that I have experienced before,"" says Douglas Dubler. ""In the past, dozens of people would congregate around a computer screen to look at images. The presence of Panasonic Plasma Screens has added energy to every one of my shoots, providing larger-than-life images with true, vibrant colors."" As an Ultimate Sponsor of the PhotoImaging & Design Expo, Panasonic will host the Opening Night Reception, along with Pictage and GretagMacbeth at 5:00pm on Tuesday, April 19. Attendees and exhibitors will be able to mingle on the trade show floor to network with the industries finest. ""We are extremely excited that Panasonic will once again be a major presence at PIDE,"" says Cygnus Imaging Group Publisher, Kathy Schneider. ""The presence of their plasma screens will demonstrate to attendees how new technology can and will be an integral part of their business success.""
