Aperion Audio Announces A New Voice

New HD-X3 Crossover Technology Optimizes Award-Winning Performance

3-May-05

Aperion Audio announced a new voice for its speakers. From the floor of the Primedia Home Entertainment Expo, Aperion Audio introduces HD-X3, its second-generation crossover technology. In addition to flattening impedance, HD-X3 allows the Aperion design team to improve upon frequency responses, efficiency and overall quality of sound. As a result, the company's speakers are producing a higher quality sound with less power and more effectively mitigating the effects of long speaker wire runs and equipment deficiencies. ""We believe that there is always a way to raise the bar,"" said Win Jeanfreau, Founder and CEO of Aperion Audio. ""While our Di-Aural voice earned us awards and recognition, HD-X3 allows us to optimize the sound and improve upon the overall performance of our speakers."" Aperion Audio's HD-X3 crossover technology is at the heart of the new voice. It allows for flatter frequency response, reduces the range within plus or minus 2dB and increases the sound output by 3dB/watt. This is all achieved using less than half the power of previous models. The HD-X3 crossover technology has also made the impedance friendlier, evolving from 6 ohm to 8 ohm, which makes the speakers easier to drive and allows the use of less expensive electronics. What's more, the quality of the sound is now more resilient against the harmful effects of long speaker wire runs and deficiencies. For more information, visit http://www.aperionaudio.com
