Music Video Distributors and Metal Mind Productions are pleased to announce the home viewing release of DESDEMONA ñ LIVE 3.0 for US distribution on DVD. This is Desdemonaís first DVD release. The band was founded in 1996 by a group of friends, united with one aim - to create honest and ambitious music. After numerous personal changes and other problems, there finally emerged quite a stable line-up. At that time Desdemona played many marvelous gigs, during which the band was very warmly welcomed. More or less at the same time the band started to work on their debut material. They recorded a ""home"" demo which they sent out to a few labels. Morbid Noizz took interest in the band. The band got a huge kick of energy, knowing that soon their album would be out. They entered Altheya studio, where they recorded ""Stagnacja"" album. Vocalist Joanna Radlowska then quit. Then they remembered about an old friend, Agata Pawlowicz. Though she lived quite away from the rest of the band, already after the first rehearsal they knew she was the perfect match. She proved her worth in Bolkow in 2001, where the enthusiastic reception considerably exceeded the band's expectations. Next period started with signing a deal with Metal Mind Productions. They soon entered the studio again and recorded material for ""_s.u.p.e.r.N.O.V.A."" (with Bartek Kuzniak in his incredible Studio 333). Then, In 2004 Desdemona was joined by Robert Plaskowski, known from the project Robi. They gigged a lot, e.g. supporting Type O Negative and Katatonia, they also took part in the third edition of Dark Stars Festival Tour. Also in 2004 their newest album ""Version 3.0"" was released. The reception both among fans and the music media was enthusiastic. Beginning of 2005 brought Polish gigs with Tiamat and the recording of their first official DVD. They are currently working on the material for their next full-lengthÖ DVD extras include: bonus videoclip of ìXI-IXî from their previous album ""s.u.p.e.r.N.O.V.A."", 4 bonus audio tracks (Crucified: Act I, Insomnia, Eternal Flame, The Longing), interviews, biography, discography, photo galleries, 4 downloadable desktop images and more.
