New Firmware 4.10 For cinemateq Picture Optimizer Plus (II SDI)

The new firmware 4.10 for the picture optimizer plus (II SDI) series is officially available and can be downloaded from the Internet and installed for free. Below the modifications: - Faster Input-SwitchingThe speed of the image formation has been importantly increased. Also the switching of the Input-Signal became faster, especially if the video-standard of the relevant inputs, e.g. from a PAL-TV-Tuner or a SAT-receiver, was fixed to VIDEO NORM PAL in the INPUT PRESETTINGS menu.- More stable operation with TV-zappingAfter an interrupt shorter than 2 seconds the picture remains stable and is not initialized again.- Overscan button predefined with current Overscan value 96% An uncircumcised image with 100% overscan is still predefined for all eight Inputs. By pressing the ""os"" -overscan- button you can now zoom-in to the preassigned setting with 96% overscan, to compensate the slightly reduced quality of broadcast TV. Other Overscan values can still be fixed individually for each input inside the INPUT PRESETTUNGS menu.- Finer RGB gamma correctionFor a finer correction of color cast defects, the increment of the RGB gamma correction was halved.- Improved RGB quantization The representation of grey- and colour nuances takes place more precisely and with refined transitions.- Optimized aspect ratio function for devices with silver remotecontrolThe 5 picture formats can now be switched directly with the aspect ratio-button (as) on the silver remote control.The Firmware 4.10 is available from now on at www.cinemateq.com under ""Support for picture optimizer product family"" to download for free. You can comfortably install the new firmware as usual via RS-232 with the Windows-program ""Bootloader"".
