Sanus Systems Announces Web-Based MountFinderô TV Compatibility Database

Sanus Systems announced the introduction of its MountFinderô TV Compatibility Database, an interactive tool for matching its VisionMountô mounts to individual TVs. The database ó found on the Sanus website (www.sanus.com) ó allows website users, primarily consumers and A/V dealers, to easily select the mount or mounts recommended for a specific TV. This free service allows users to determine the mount with the desired functionality, such as ìlow profile,î ìtiltingî or ìfull motionî features. Entry to the MountFinderô is from the Sanus website; users choose the ìInformation Centerî tab at the top of the Home Page, then click on the MountFinder link. That link opens the search page where users select a manufacturer (there are currently more than 100 manufacturers available) and model (approximately 4,000 of them), and the database returns the specific mounts that are compatible with that model. ìBasic wall mount search criteria, such as TV weight and size, have already been determined by Sanus technicians for each model of TV on the database,î said Jeff Lasch, Product Development and Support Specialist for Sanus. ìWeíve done all the hard work,î said Lasch. ìThe MountFinder is very consumer friendly. This compatibility database is a wonderful, time saving tool that allows users to match their TV with all the various wall mounts that fit it, then choose the desired one.î The MountFinderô also allows users to link from compatible mounts to a wealth of information about those mounts, including photos of the mounts, specification information and list prices. Additionally, the database alerts users to those rare occasions when adaptors are needed with a mount.
