    Sony Pictures Blu-ray Club

    At a Sony event on Tuesday, April 22 at the Sony Pictures studio lot in one of the spectacular historical sound stages, in addition to Sony showcaseing its new stand-alone player with Wi-Fi® capability for easy BD-Live™ access (Model BDP-S560), the studio showed examples of the interactivity features available with BD-Live. There was an impressive demonstration of various BD-Live capabilities, which the studio said was always in development for future release in order to enhance the overll Blu-ray Disc experience.

    The studio previewed the Sony Pictures Blu-ray Club whereby consumers can earn points toward Sony products for registering eligible Sony Blu-ray Discs via BD-Live.

    Check out all the different opportunities using your BD-Live functionality. "The DaVinci Code" marks Sony's firs E-Movie Cash offer via BD-Live. Consumers can offer a unique code found in the packaging and instantly receive, via e-mail, an E-movie Cash certificat toward the thearical release of "Angels And Demons," which opens May 15th.
