Bag End’s popular double 12-inch subwoofer is available in both a passive installation version (Model D12-E-I) and a powered version (Model PD12-E-I) featuring Bag End’s built-in high-efficiency modular Minima One amplifier. These 12-inch subwoofers can be either installed, taking advantage of their low profile and compact size, or used as portable units, where their light weight is an advantage. In either application, they deliver the perfectly flat frequency response and reliable high-fidelity performance that result from Bag End’s exclusive technology. “We also now offer the D12-E-I and PD12-E-I in a variety of optional cabinet colors and styles,” points out Jim Wischmeyer, Bag End President, “as well as multiple optional fly points for convenient mounting of the installed versions. Our goal is to meet the needs of all of our customers.” This compact, lightweight subwoofer system is only ½ to ¼ the size of conventional bass systems, at 28”h x 18”w x 15”d, and weighs only 69 pounds. Yet the dual 12-inch cones deliver frequency response down to 8 Hertz when used with the 8 Hertz integrator and blend well with most upper range systems, giving the sound at both low and high listening levels a feeling of power and authority.
