CEDIA Announces Electronic Lifestyles® Awards Winners

More than 50 winners were announced in the Designer Awards competition, which honors the best projects completed by CEDIA electronic systems contractor members. The Designer Awards entries are judged by a jury of fellow electronic systems contractors as well as a panel of architects and interior designers.

Eleven awards were announced in the Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards competition, including ten Best New Products and one Best New Technology. The Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards recognize the innovations of CEDIA’s manufacturer member companies, and entries are judged by electronic systems contractors on the basis of innovation, value to the technician, value to the business and impact on the client's lifestyle.

The Industry Awards recognized a group of companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to CEDIA and the electronic systems industry over the past year. The honorees include top volunteers and instructors as well as one Electronic Systems Contractor of the Year and one Electronic Systems Technician of the Year.

CEDIA also recognized a select group of volunteers who have been integral to the association’s success over the course of its first 20 years. The first 10 individuals to be named as CEDIA Fellows included longtime volunteers and instructors as well as past presidents and members of the board of directors.
