Genesis to Exhibit at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas, January 7th to 10th, 2010

Genesis Advanced Technologies, manufacturer of high-end luxury loudspeaker and amplifier systems will be demonstrating their Best of Innovations Design and Engineering Awards winner, the Genesis 7.1f loudspeaker, at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the world’s largest consumer technology trade show. This will be the 8th consecutive year that Genesis will be exhibiting in the High Performance Audio Showcase at CES.

“Last year, we demonstrated a prototype of the G7.1f to a warm reception from our dealers and distributors,” said Mr Gary Leonard Koh, President and CEO of Genesis Advanced Technologies. “Many of them gave us their personal feedback which resulted in a better sounding final product that we launched in limited quantities in Summer 2009. Now, we are up to full production.”

“Winning the prestigious ‘Best of Innovations’ was a pleasant surprise and a great honor,” continued Mr Koh. “That the judges have awarded top scores to the G7.1f means that we have a world-class product that is recognized by both the Consumer Electronics

Association of the USA and the Industrial Designers Society of America for its innovative design and engineering.”

The G7.1f is a high-end audiophile loudspeaker with full-range musical performance in a small-footprint svelte and elegant enclosure. A built-in servo-controlled 8” subwoofer delivers bass down to 22Hz, while the famous Genesis ribbon tweeter ensures perfect high frequencies to 36kHz. At an MSRP of US$8,000, the G7.1f is a value-for-money model that also represents the best of high performance audiophile products.

“We designed the Genesis 7.1f to be beautiful and elegant, and to fit into the family room. It has a large sweetspot to bring the family together to enjoy music and movies,” said Ms. Carolyn Koh, the Chief Operating Officer of Genesis. “While it has all the qualities expected of a high-end loudspeaker by the audiophile market, the G7.1f also represents an entry to the larger consumer lifestyle market for Genesis.”

“This year, we will also be introducing the prototype of the Genesis preamplifier to our partners,” said Mr. Koh. “After the introduction of the Genesis Reference Amplifier, many of our dealers

asked for a partnering preamplifier. Working in collaboration with Mr. Steve McCormack of SMc Audio, we will be showing a prototype of the Genesis preamp that we aim to get into production by Summer 2010.”

“Hopefully, we will get as much feedback from our dealers as we got with the prototype speaker last year,” said Ms Koh. “This is in line with the open door philosophy in the company, to invite feedback and criticism that makes us better and stronger.”

A full Genesis system comprising the G7.1f, the multi-award winning Genesis Reference Amplifier with the Maximum Dynamic Headroom Reservoir, and the prototype Genesis preamp will be demonstrated at the 2010 International CES, in the High Performance Audio Showcase in The Venetian, Suite #29-215, January 7 – 10, Las Vegas, Nevada. The G7.1f will also be displayed at the Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center, and will be featured at CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of the International CES on Tuesday, January 5.

We will also be featuring sources from Weiss Highend with the Amarra Computer Music Player, and the SOTA Cosmos turntable.
