    Horton Hears A Who! In Holiday Cross Promotional Blitz

     Fox Home Entertainment has announced an aggressive cross-promotional  advertising campaign aimed at making their Holiday release of Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who! at the top of every little Whos' wish list.

      Horton will be quite the star this season, as he has been slated as Macy's Official Holiday Ambassador and will be featured as a 66-foot-long float in their famous Thanksgiving Day Parade. Horton's busy cross-promoting schedule doesn't stop with Macy's, however. The peace-loving pachyderm is set to bring the word of energy conservation to children everywhere as a spokes-elephant for Energy Star, as well as touting child-friendly hair care products for L'Oréal Kids.

      Dr. Suess' most endearing and enduring character is set to arrive on retailer's shelves on December 9th as a single-disc DVD, a two-disc DVD, a Blu-ray™ special edition, and as a gift set, which includes the two-disc special edition DVD along with an adorable "Horton" plush toy.

      The single-disc DVD is a flip-disc that features both the widescreen and full-frame versions of the film but is limited to previews as special
    features. The two-disc special edition DVD and Blu-ray sets both include a digital copy of the film, a full range of behind-the-scenes featurettes, and outtakes, as well as a memory game. The gift set contains the two-disc special edition with all its special features, along with a cute "Horton" plush toy in an attractive gift box.
