Klipsch Introduces New High-Performance Synergy Speakers

By Gary Reber

Klipsch®, a leading global speaker manufacturer, is announcing today the launch of its new Synergy Series speakers. The newly re-engineered line of home audio speakers is complete with cutting-edge technological advancements and includes eight refreshed models.

Since 1997, the Klipsch Synergy Series has made its mark as one of the company’s best values in high-performance entertainment. The latest series holds true by offering unmatched sound performance due to new high frequency components, a new network structure, updated voicing and a more contemporary look. Equipped with proprietary Tractrix® Horn technology, each speaker offers the precision, clarity and effortless power for which Klipsch is known.

“The new Synergy speakers’ lifelike and dynamic sound helps enthusiasts rediscover their favorite artists and movies,” said Mark Casavant, Vice President of Product Development for Klipsch. “With this new series, we are thrilled to offer users an even higher level of the renowned Klipsch sound performance at nearly the same price points as before.”

The eight new models consist of three floorstanding towers (F-30, F-20 and F-10), one
bookshelf model (B-20), two center channels (C-20 and C-10) and two surround speakers (S-20 and S-10), which include Klipsch’s exclusive Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST™). WDST is the no-compromise approach to surround speaker design because it provides maximum surround coverage and improved placement flexibility.

All of the new Synergy Series loudspeakers feature lightweight, rigid IMG woofer cones to ensure tight musical bass response. New Tractrix horn tweeters incorporate Linear Travel Suspension and aluminum diaphragm compression drivers, which work together to reduce distortion and produce crystal-clear high frequencies. Available in a modern black ash vinyl veneer with gray accents, each speaker exudes superior style and blends seamlessly with any décor.

“Our experience powering the sound in nearly half of all new movie theaters built in North America today enables us to bring the movie theater feel into anyone’s home with our home audio lines like the new Synergy Series,” said Casavant. “For over 60 years, all Klipsch products have utilized our unrivalled horn technology, and as we continue to enhance and create new product lines, we
strive to complement our past with the latest audio advancements to ensure the ever-evolving yet signature Klipsch sound.”

The new Klipsch Synergy Series now covers U.S. MSRP price points ranging from $598 to $998 for a pair of floorstanding speakers, $279 for a pair of bookshelf models, $199 to $299 for a center channel and $329 to $479 for a pair of surrounds.
