ADAM Ups The Ante With Grand Theatre Component System

By Gary Reber

ADAM Audio, one of the world’s leading designer and manufacturers of high end home loudspeakers and professional monitors with systems in leading facilities such as The Juilliard School, Jazz at Lincoln Center, 20th Century Fox and Abbey Road, is proud to introduce at this year’s CEDIA the new Grand Theatre Component system specifically aimed at the high end custom designed home theater market.

Featuring the company’s exclusive X-ART tweeter technology and the latest in midrange and bass reflex enclosure designs, the new GTC55, GTC77, GTC88 and GTC Sub offer transparent, focused audio performance and unique features such as an adjustable tweeter section for unparalleled mounting flexibility.

class="MsoNormal">The GTS series consists of four components that can be individually combined. Each component incorporates ADAM’s own converter technology, the ART (Accelerating Ribbon Technology) and high-quality mid-woofers. The two bigger speakers also have integrated segments on which the drivers are mounted. These segments can be twisted by 90 degrees so that the speakers can function both in a horizontal and vertical setup. In addition this feature allows the easy and efficient adjustment of the tweeter according to the position of the audience.

The GTC System has been designed to offer the high performance sound found in major recording studios while being built into the walls of custom home theaters. ADAM Audio is raising the bar of home theater sound to another level.
