SpeakerCraft, America’s original manufacturer of in-wall speakers announced a new line of cabinet speakers called Roots. Eluding to the fact that the company began its manufacturing legacy producing quality box speakers, Roots brings the story full circle. The series debuts with three satellite models and two accompanying subwoofers. The sats feature 3 ½, 4 ½, and 6 ½ inch woofers in the three models accompanied by ½, ¾ and 1-inch silk dome tweeters respectively. The speakers hearken back to the company’s origins in producing great sounding freestanding loudspeakers. Two powered subs in 8 and 10-inch formats fill out the lower octaves. With either 200 or 300 watts of power coupled with a very impressive DSP package, the Roots subs integrate seamlessly with the satellites and provide the installer with unmatched adjustability to tailor the output to any room environment.
