Production for the B&K CT600.1, a 6-zone audio video receiver fully controllable by IR, ethernet or RS-232 with 55 watts per channel for each of its 12 on-board amplifiers, was completed earlier this month and shipped to dealers. Amplifier Technologies purchased B&K Components in late 2010 and moved all inventory and parts to ATI’s factory. According to Morris Kessler, president of Amplifer Technologies, changing production facililties was not a trivial task. “Not only did we need to learn how to assemble the product, we needed to re-create the entire quality control and testing environment”, said Kessler. “We still intend to build the entire B&K line-up here in California. The CT-600 is only the first of many.” The MSRP is $2,798 ATI is also shipping many B&K accessories including the CK1.1 and 2.2 keypads.
