 Leon Speakers, leaders in the custom high-fidelity audio industry, debuts two new models of its high-performance Axis Series in-ceiling speakers. Combining an extremely small form factor design and advanced speaker design, the new AX-V5 and AX-V6 speakers offer both the versatility and fidelity necessary for Living Space Theater applications. See the new Axis Series speakers, along with Leon’s entire lineup, on display at CEDIA EXPO 2011 in the Leon Speakers Booth #5154 from September 8-10, 2011. “We set out to design a speaker that not only met Leon’s performance benchmark, but provided extreme versatility for our integrator,” said Noah Kaplan, President of Leon Speakers. “Our new Axis Series speakers are an important addition to our Living Space Theater pallet of products. They are among the smallest possible in-ceilings for the size driver they employ giving installers the ability to mount them in-wall or in-ceiling. And, they ship with both square and circle low profile grills that we can paint to match any color in house. Every aspect of this speaker was designed from the ground up with amazing input from our dedicated dealer network. We are to be launching this product at CEDIA and shipping immediately after.” The small form factor design of the AX-V5 and AX-V6 measures less than 3.5” deep, allowing them to be used in-ceiling or in-wall. They are available with 5-inch or 6-inch drivers and 1-inch Tetron-woven tweeters to provide a full range, yet detailed soundstage. The subtle design and engineering cues found in these speakers will engage any set of critical eyes and ears in the room. Every screw, cone, grill and bevel is designed to produce lifelike sound with the least amount of diffraction, offering a high-fidelity audio experience from an unobtrusive custom installed speaker. To accommodate a wide variety of designs in a room, each speaker comes with a round and a square grill that can be custom painted in-house to match any wall color or paint code. Additionally the speaker features an EQ switch to tailor the sound to the room surfaces, placement and desired balance, and a specially formulated, rubber dampening finish on the baffle to minimize coloration. Leon’s new AXIS Series V5 and V6 speakers will be available to ship in Q4  2011 at an MSRP of $350/each for the AXIS AX-V5 and $425/each for the AXIS AX-V6.
