BDI Announces Five New Home Theater Collections

By Gary Reber

BDI, the company that designs beautiful, innovative furniture that performs as well as the high-tech equipment it holds, is pleased to introduce five new home theater furniture collections:

BRADEN™
, a unique home theater cabinet, features a convertible speaker compartment. The wide shelf accommodates a soundbar and the center portion of the shelf removes to allow for a tall center channel speaker. The cabinet’s two side compartments have IR-friendly glass doors for remote control access, and the lower media storage drawer can house a complete DVD collection.

CORRIDOR™ has louvered doors constructed of solid walnut that not only allow sound and remote control signals to pass through, but also provide striking textural detail. The center two doors open to reveal a large compartment with an adjustable shelf, so CORRIDOR can handle speakers and components of virtually any size.

NORA SLIM™ is a shallower version of BDI’s NORA™ home theater cabinet. At only 18.5 inches deep, it is a great choice for shallow components or smaller spaces. Both NORA models feature an open compartment for a speaker and concealed component storage behind beautifully finished glass doors. NORA is available in three unique finish combinations, each providing a different look.

SIGNAL™ is a fully enclosed home theater collection, so components remain neatly hidden behind wood doors. The cabinet floats on a black steel base and is available in two models – one at 17.75 inches tall and the other slightly taller at 26 inches (both the same width at 79.25 inches).  SIGNAL is sized for large TVs, accommodating screens up to 85 inches.

SONDA™ is beautifully designed with the convenient access of an open TV stand, but it has wooden compartments in the lower cabinet that give it an enclosed feel. The top is constructed of black, micro-etched glass, and the entire piece floats within a black steel frame.

BDI furniture is intelligently engineered with innovative features that make set-up of a home theater system simple, while protecting the system throughout its lifetime. Many models feature adjustable, customizable shelves, hidden wheels that allow the entire system to be rolled from the wall and/or removable back panels for easy access to the rear of components. Cable management is thoughtfully integrated into each cabinet to keep cables organized and out of sight. BDI cabinets include built-in ventilation to promote airflow so the system stays cool. BDI furniture utilizes tempered glass for safety and offers a standard three-year warranty.
