DTS 6.1 ES Adapters
Dear Gary: Will the Parasound 1800 have an add-on for DTS-ES? Or will they be putting out another piece with it built in?

Plans by manufacturers for DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 adapters are unknown at this time but rest assured that we will keep our readership informed as things develop. Keep in mind too that only processors and receivers that have 6.1 or 7.1 channel inputs will be compatible with any DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 adapters due to the number of channels. Unfortunately many processors, even expensive ones, have been equipped with only 5.1 channel inputs and are thus obsolete as far as this kind of upgrade is concerned.
