“Sleepy Hollow” Mistimed?
Dear Gary: This is about the Sleepy Hollow movie. I Bought the move a week ago..... yesterday. I saw the movie, and what is it???.The sound is mistimed....the more that you see of the movie the mistime grows. I mean.....at the beginning the sound is OK...but 10 minutes later the sound is 1 sec. earlier than the picture.... 20 minutes. later than the beginning point there are 2 sec. of mistiming... and so on. I’m using a creative labs PC DVD. This is the only movie that makes that. What’s wrong?? If I type an exclusive chapter number, lets say I type chapter number 8, the picture and the sound are OK. Then slowly... 10 minutes later.... the sound is coming 1 sec earlier than the picture!!! Let’s say I play the movie from the beginning and chapter 8 is 40 minutes. ahead... when we reach chapter 8 the sound is mistimed 4 seconds.... I mean,. I hear the sound and 4 sec later their mouth is moving. Do you know something about this???

I have had much experience with DVD players on PCs and from time to time have run into similar synch problems with picture lagging behind the audio. One of them is the Hardware Cinemaster DVD player on a Pentium III at 800MHz.
