The “T2” Ultimate Edition
Dear Gary: Your Web site review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day mentions a third “hidden” version of the film. How do you get to it?

Gary forwarded me your note on the T2 Special Edition and how to get to the third version. We just put the information up on the Web site. (www.widescreenreview.com) Here you go... Step One: Select “Special Edition” from the first menu (on side one of the disc). Step Two: Make sure “Play Special Edition” is highlighted. If not, highlight it. NOTE: PLEASE READ ALL THE FOLLOWING STEPS BEFORE PROCEEDING Step Three: Using your remote, type in the number “8.” You should see the word ”The” appear to the right of the menu. Step Four: Continue typing in the numbers 2 — 9 — 9 — 7. After each number you should see another word appear to the right. Once you can read “The Future Is Not Set,” the menu will expand to show a “Play Extended Special Edition” selection. Hit “Enter.” What’s the significance of the numbers? Read them this way: 8/29/97. It’s “Judgment Day” from the film. NOTE: You must wait until you see a word light up at the right before pressing the next number. Don’t wait too long though, or the words will go away and you will have to start over.
